Our story

June22 began with a wish to feel close — and free.

Our story started in Paris in 2018. Audrey had just become a mother to Léonie, but those early months were not what she had imagined.

Connecting with her daughter did not come easily. Tiredness built up into a period of deep exhaustion. She longed to feel close to her baby again and regain her confidence.

That was when she discovered babywearing. For Audrey, carrying her daughter was more than a practical solution: it helped her reconnect and find a different way through a difficult time.

There was just one thing missing. None of the carriers she found felt like her. They seemed too technical, too rigid and too far removed from her style and everyday life.

So she began imagining something different: simpler, softer, more beautiful and easier to move in. That was the beginning of June22.

Keeping baby close should not mean putting yourself on hold.

From the start, we have believed that caring for your baby and staying true to yourself belong together.

We want you to keep going out, creating, travelling and enjoying everyday life with your baby close. To feel comfortable and confident, without giving up the things you love.

For years, mothers have been told that holding a baby too much will spoil them, or that being close to their child means losing themselves. At June22, we believe in a different experience: one built on support, confidence and freedom.

That idea still guides every design we create.

From Paris to Barcelona, shaped by real life

A few years after founding the brand, Audrey moved to Barcelona with her family. The move also marked a new chapter for June22.

She wanted to bring design and making closer together, understand each step of production and work in a way that better reflected her values.

Today, every June22 product is made in Barcelona, in our own workshop, without subcontracting. Being involved from start to finish lets us care for the details and develop our collections more responsibly and responsively.

We design for real life: full-on days, babies who want to be held, coffees on the go, family trips and the little moments that make it all worthwhile.

More than a baby carrier

Since 2018, June22 has accompanied thousands of families through their early years of parenthood. Our purpose remains the same: to create products that support women and help them feel comfortable, confident and free.

Because you do not have to choose between being a mother and being yourself.
